FLIGHTS
'We used Google Flights to find the cheapest one-way flights from the capital city of each country to the city of their first game, then onwards to the second game and third (arriving the day before each game) and then finally a one-way flight back to their capital city (departing the day after their third group game).
*No flights to Russia were available from Switzerland’s capital, Bern, so we looked at flights from Geneva instead.
**For all games taking in place in Rostov-on-Don, we looked at the recently opened nearby Platov Airport which now serves the city.
HOTELS
We used Booking.com to find the cheapest one room accommodation for each game, based on the fans arriving the day before the game, and leaving either the day before their next game, or the day after their last game for their flight home.
*We only looked at private rooms, so beds in hostel dormitories were not included.
MATCH TICKETS
We looked at the cheapest available match tickets for group stage games, which will cost £80 each for non-Russian residents.
*Saudi Arabia have to pay slightly more for their tickets because they’re involved in the opening match, where the cheapest tickets for non-Russian residents will cost £168.
WEEKLY INCOME
We took the average monthly disposable (after tax) earnings from NationMaster and divided it by four to give us an average weekly income for each.
