Amsterdam Airport (ATH)
Athens International Airport (known as Eleftherios Venizelos) is the main airport serving Athens and is located 33km (20.5 miles) from the city. Take Metro Line 3 (Aghia Marina – Douk. Plakentias - Athens International Airport), which connects the Athens airport with the city center. Trains run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:30am to 11:30pm. The trip from/to the Airport to Syntagma station (Athens center) lasts 40 minutes.
Taxis are also readily available outside of the arrivals terminal, and take 25 minutes to reach the city centre. During the day a taxi will cost you 38€ and around 54€ at night.
