Hong Kong is the ultimate culture clash, a place where East meets West, new meets old, and you can see it all for less with our cheap flights to Hong Kong from Los Angeles here at Globehunters.
While it’s a popular destination for business travellers, it’s also got a lot to offer tourists too, with soaring skyscrapers and imposing mountains standing side by side.
For some of the best views of the central district, take the Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak, where you’ll get a unique perspective of the skyline, or catch the Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour to see the city lights from the water.
And, if you’re travelling with a special someone, the Star Ferry at night is a particularly romantic occasion that you’ll never forget.
Away from the hectic hustle and bustle of the central district, on Lantau Island, you’ll find the Tian Tan Buddha, also known as the Big Buddha.
This huge bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hong Kong and symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature and people and faith, which nicely encapsulates everything we love about Hong Kong.
Once the sun goes down, be sure to head to Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo to sample some of Hong Kong’s world-famous street food.
So, for a taste of the East but with a hint of the West, check out our cheap flights to Hong Kong, including business and first class flights below.
