Flight Times
The average flight time from the US to Paris will vary depending on where you’re departing from.
For example, direct flights from Boston could take as little as six and a half hours, but from Los Angeles, it could take as long as eleven hours.

The Airport(s)
Paris is served by three international airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Paris Orly (ORY) and Beauvais-Tillé (BVA), although the majority of flights from the US will arrive at Charles de Gaulle, with a few New York flights landing at Orly, and no US flights landing at Beauville.
Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
Paris Charles de Gaulle is the main airport in Paris, and the one where the majority of US flights will arrive.
It’s located about 20 miles northeast of the center of Paris and the best way to get to the city is via the RER B city train from either CDG Terminal 2 or Roissypole.
The train runs straight through the center of Paris, taking about half an hour to reach the Gare du Nord station.
Orly (ORY)
Some Air France and OpenSkies services from New York JFK and Newark will land at Orly, which is about 10 miles south of Paris.
The airport is connected to the city by the RER B train line at Antony station, which takes around 25 minutes to reach the Gare du Nord main station.
Antony station can be reached via the Orlyval shuttle service which costs €9,30 ($9.90).
